FBISD student login

Fort Bend ISD says students log in to Schoology with their district Microsoft 365 email and network password. Teachers give students this information at the start of the year, and families can also find it under "Student Information" in Skyward Family Access (Fort Bend ISD).

  1. Open Schoology from the district's 1Link portal or Fort Bend ISD's Schoology link.
  2. Sign in with Microsoft using the full district email and network password.
  3. Your courses open.

FBISD parent first-time setup

Fort Bend ISD creates parent Schoology accounts from Skyward Family Access information. The district explains that setting up your Schoology account goes through the "forgot password" process, because the account is drawn from Family Access (Fort Bend ISD).

  1. Make sure you have a Skyward Family Access account. If not, create one through the district's Family Access site.
  2. Go to the Schoology login page and choose Forgot your password.
  3. Enter the email address in your Family Access account and follow the email from Schoology to set your password.
  4. Sign in. Each of your FBISD children appears in your account.

The district notes that FBISD employees whose Family Access account uses their district email need to change it to a personal email, because Schoology can't use the same login for parent and staff access.

Official grades vs. Schoology

FBISD describes parent access as "view only." Teachers may record some grades in Schoology, but the district says Skyward remains the official record for grades.

For parent access or username and password issues, Fort Bend ISD directs families to the district's technical support. Its Schoology page lists support hours of Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the phone number 281-634-1300. Check the FBISD Schoology page for current details.
